“Local speed” means the data transfer rate between the user’s location and Texxa’s servers.
“Internet speed” means the data transfer rate between the user’s location and an Internet site.
“Residential” means home use only, for non-commercial purposes.
“Business” means use in any commercial or office environment.
“Wireless Radio Unit” includes radio, antenna, and up to 50’ Ethernet cabling.
“Installation & Setup” means mounting the antenna and configuring one PC for operation.
“Networking” means connecting more than one PC together for shared Internet access.
“Additional PC labor” includes any work not related to installing the wireless radio unit.
Service calls beyond the initial installation will result in a separate additional charge.
Terms and Conditions
All requests for service must be made in writing using this form. All approved accounts carry a 12-month term, committing you to paying for your radio installation, and 12 months of service at the selected price. To obtain service, you must provide a valid credit card number and keep that card active for the duration of your service. Before installation, your card will be charged for one month’s service, the radio pricing option selected, the installation cost, and any applicable sales tax. Our installer will recommend and bill separately for any additional items required. On or about the first day of each month, your card will be charged the monthly service amount plus any selected monthly radio pricing option and any applicable sales tax. In the event that any charge to your card is declined, your service will be suspended and will remain suspended for up to 15 days, during which time you must provide a working credit card to be reinstated. In the event that any such suspension should exceed 15 days, your contract will be terminated and charges for the remainder of your contract and all other outstanding amounts will become immediately due and payable in full to Texxa Internet Services. Any amounts not paid after termination will be referred to the Kerr County District Attorney for collection and possible prosecution. It is a violation of Texas and Federal laws to fraudulently obtain or fail to pay for telecommunications services.
Texxa makes no representations or warranties concerning this service or its use. All users must understand that the Internet is a shared medium, and that each user is solely responsible for their actions and deeds when using the Internet. Texxa provides E-Mail service to its customers on a complementary basis and is not responsible for lost or misdirected electronic messages. Texxa makes every effort to provide fast, efficient, always-on service, but unforeseen circumstances may interrupt your service. In the event of any service interruption, Texxa will not be held liable for any loss or damage of any type, nor will Texxa be required to offer any compensatory credits or concessions.
File-sharing through peer-to-peer methods such as Kazaa, Morpheus, WinMX, Bittorrent, Frost Wire, Lime Wire or others is or others is strictly prohibited on TexxaStar’s network. Any account found to be passing this traffic will be suspended until the offending program or service has been disabled. Repeated violation of this policy may result in termination of service and acceleration of all amounts due under your contract.
Any activity related to “hacking” or any attempt to improperly penetrate Texxa’s network or servers or any other system will result in immediate suspension of service. Resale of Texxa’s service is strictly forbidden. Similarly, any complaints received by Texxa regarding any improper activity of any type from your connection may result in suspension of service, subject to review and action by Texxa. Violations of this policy may result in termination of service and acceleration of all amounts due under your contract.
I have read and
understand the above Terms and Conditions. I agree to be bound by these Terms
and Conditions for one year from this date, and agree to pay any and all charges
incurred as part of obtaining or using this service. I further agree that
cancellation or termination of this service before the end of the contract
period will result in acceleration of all remaining amounts and monthly service
charges, which I will pay in full to Texxa Internet Services at the time of such
termination or cancellation. 12 month contract. All equipment remains the
property of Texxa Internet Services.
